چکیده

Introduction: Normal kidney function is very important for maintaining homeostasis. Any deviation of normal renal leads to End-stage disease (ESRD) the last stage chronic (CKD) resulting from different aetiologies. Different haematological abnormalities in patients with ESRD result multiple pathogenesis. Treatment this condition requires multidisciplinary approach. Among all treatment options haemodialysis (HD) most common, widely accepted and available option. Objective: To find out effectiveness improvement deviations developed during course ESRD. Materials Methods: A total 72 both sexes age ranging 25 years 70 were included comparative cross sectional study carried Combined Military Hospital Armed Forces Institute Pathology, Dhaka Cantonment November 2014 October 2015. Results: The pre dialysis parameters found TRBC: 3.4 ± 0.5 X 1012/L, haemoglobin (Hb) level : 9.5 1.4 gm/dL, Haematocrit (HCT): 29.1 4.4%, Mean corpuscular volume (MCV): 83.5 7 fl, Hb (MCH): 28 1.8 pg, concentration (MCHC): 31.0 2.9 gm/dl, Total leucocyte count (TLC): 6.6 1.9 X109/L, Neutrophil: 66.3 7.8 %, Lymphocyte: 24.5 6.9 Monocyte: 5.0 1.8%, Eosinophil: 4.1 2.4 Platelet: 184.3 66.5 109/L. One hour post HD values are: 3.6 0.6 X1012/L, level:10.1 1.6 Hct: 30.9 5 MCV:82.6 MCH: 2.3 MCHC: 32.2 gm/dl,TLC: 7.3 109/L, 69.2 21.6 5.5 5.3 2 3.9 2.3%. 206.1 63.6 X109/L. these TRBC, level, Hct, MCH, MCHC, TLC, Neutrophil, Lymphocyte Platelet significantly improved after (p value < .05). Conclusion: Haemodialysis management CKD/ESRD played a pivotal role improving deranged by conditions. JAFMC Bangladesh. Vol 18, No 1 (June) 2022: 39-42

Soluble Adiponectin is a New Predictor for Cardiovascular Complications in Patients with End Stage Renal Disease

Mortality due to cardiovascular complications (CVC) in patients with end stage renal disease (ESRD) is 20 fold higher than in general population. Adiponectin (ADPN) hormone from adipose tissues accumulation in serum is attributed to reduced renal clearance. The aim of this study was to investigate the possible role of ADPN as a predictor of CVC in adult patients with ESRD on hemodialysis (HD), ...

The relationship between Aldosterone level and various LV conditions in patients with End-stage renal disease

Background: Aldosterone has been assumed to be implicated in left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). Preventing the progression of LVH in the early period of end-stage renal disease (ESRD) can increase patient survival. In this study, therefore, we analyzed the relationship between aldosterone level and LVH in ESRD patients who underwent hemodialysis at Fatemeh Zahra Hospital and Imam Khomeini Hosp...

Prevalence of infectious diseases in patients with end stage renal disease in Gorgan City in Iran

Background: The mortality rate of sepsis and pneumonia is higher in end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients than in the general population. Bacterial infections are the most common cause of hospitalization in dialysis patients and the most common source of bacteremia is vascular access in these patients. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of infectious causes of hospitalizati...
